Title: The Bird and Water Dance Ensemble

Description: Please join us for a spectacular single performance of the Bird and Water Dance Ensemble from Taiwan on June 25 at 7pm. Admission is FREE, however seating is limited.

The Bird and Water Dance Ensemble is the first dance ensemble formed by people from Taiwan with physical, visual and other disabilities. After it was founded in 2003, the ensemble has performed internationally and won many Gold Medal awards in international competitions. With their creative and unique dancing style to promote the special arts and culture development, they have performed in many community venues such as educational programs and prisons to share their vision of happiness, beauty, and passion, and to raise awareness of life.

The Komen Race for the Cure Series is the largest series of 5K runs/fitness walks in the world. Of the net proceeds raised locally from the Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure, a minimum of 25% goes to national breast cancer research and up to 75% stays in St. Louis to help organizations provide breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs.

YAPA and our partner organization, MAABA, will have a team at the Susan G. Komen, Race for the Cure on June 11th! Come join us to support a great cause!

Over 70,000 people ran/walked the 3 mile course last year.  Hope to see you there!

Meeting Time:  8:00 AM -  We will head over to the Race starting point at 8:30 AM.

Meeting Place:  Union Station on Clark St & 18^th Street (if you plan to ride the Metrolink in, there is a stop right next to it)
